Using SPC and new CNC Machines, we are able to hold Tolerances of +/- .00005. Vescio Threading Company was founded in 1947 by RW Vescio and PC Ferguson as a general machine shop in Lynwood, California. The two of them met as machinists at Pacific Gear Works and learned their trade as machinists in the navy. In 1959 Mr. Ferguson left the company and Mr. Vescio changed the emphasis of the company to provide Cridan threading services to other machine shops. The present CFO, Bob Vescio, joined the company in 1961 after graduating from UCLA with a degree in engineering and spending a short time at North American Aviation. He had been an apprentice at Cincinnati Gear Works and worked at Vescio Threading to pay his way through college. In 1976 the company moved into its present location in Santa Fe Springs. Shortly after the move Vescio Threading purchased their first CNC to stay ahead of technology. Today Greg Vescio manages the plant and Vescio Threading employs over 60 people and has over 40 CNC machines in its 25,000 square foot facility and generates over $10,000,000 a year in sales.
